Poom – Rollercoaster

MUSIC, TREND

Young director Côme de Bouchony pays tribute to French 60s magazine “Salut Les Copains” and replaces the vintage youngsters faces with Poom‘s.
Thanks to the sense of humour of the band, the quality of the technique, and the resulted 60s aesthetic, it really works with this nice Rollercoaster song.

Rihanna 0 – Viktor & Rolf 0

BEAUTY, FASHION, MUSIC, PEOPLE, TREND

Viktor & Rolf Ready to Wear Spring 2010 fashion show was really awesome. The work on structure is simply amazing.
But what happened on that poor Rihanna at Clive Davis’ Grammys Party, this weekend ?
The dress lost some of its features, especially the structure on the hip, and the waist highlighted by the pointed bustier. As Rihanna is not so thin as the model, and with a brighter skin, the result is truly disappointing, leaving us with a bloated unfierce Riri. Kuddos for the hair though, combining two hot trends : gradient hair, and rockin’ bump.

Hot now : Ballerina !

BEAUTY, FASHION, PEOPLE, TREND

Carrie – SJP – Bradshaw had understood it long before, Marc Jacobs reminded us last fashion week, the ballerina bun is the new accessory to dope an outfit.
Wear it very high, topknot, and messy. Like “I’m so hot I can’t help it, look I’m just out of my bed”. It can be on the side, which adds to the 1 minute hairdo style.

New Mango campaign feat. Scarlett Johansson

FASHION, PEOPLE, TREND

Denim look + high waist belt = OK
Kaki touch = OK
But God, the sleeveless trench… Come on Mango, couldn’t you do better ?
The cold neon atmosphere of the campaign is not really up to date either, and doesn’t fit with what you would expect for a spring-summer communication.
See below the pics to judge by yourself.

Mustang Mustang Mustang

FASHION, MUSIC, PEOPLE, TREND

On aime.
